Update #13: Slime Armor, New Modifiers & Plant Dungeon

Reworked Verdant Roots modifiers, created complete Slime Armor set, fixed Plant Dungeon, and added new weapon drops from Plant-type enemies.

Item Modifiers & Visual Updates

  • Reworked and recolored all modifiers for the Verdant Roots set to improve visual consistency and item readability.
  • Created four new modifiers for the Starter weapons (Sword, Bow, and Staff).

New Weapons Added

  • Vine Sword - New nature-themed melee weapon
  • Thorn Spitter Bow - Ranged weapon with plant abilities
  • Wood Chip Staff - Magic staff for casters
  • Designed four custom modifiers for each of the newly added weapons

Slime Content

  • Adjusted the Slime spawn ratio to 3:1 (common slimes vs. special variants such as Frost, Lava, Warrior, Mage, and Healer)
  • Created Slime Armor items: Boots, Chestplate, Leggings, and Helmet, forming a complete armor set
  • Developed four unique modifiers per item for both the Starter Armor Set and the Slime Armor Set, enhancing build variety and stat customization
  • Introduced Slime Armor pieces as drops from special Slime variants (any Slime other than the common type)

Item System Improvements

  • Implemented a specific lore-format system for COMMON-tier items, allowing for a more organized and visually appealing display of item stats
  • Revised item descriptions and lore texts to enhance aesthetic presentation and narrative cohesion

Plant Dungeon Fix

  • Fixed the Plant Dungeon, which now functions properly. Players can enter, defeat the boss, and obtain its exclusive rewards
  • Added the new Plant weapons as drops from Plant-type enemies:
    • Thorn Spitter Bow drops from Thorn Spitter
    • Vine Sword and Wood Chip Staff drop from Vine Guardian

UI & Organization

  • Added name tags / visual role labels (e.g., App Name, Developer, Builder, Other Roles) in the project's visual interface for organizational clarity

Animation Progress

  • Completed the first scene of the new animation, with the objective of finishing the full sequence within the week

Blockchain Development

Continued development of the Rewards and Transfer Plugin:

  • Designed functions to transfer USDC to specific players
  • Implemented functionality to transfer in-game assets/items (e.g., "found objects") from the developer wallet to player accounts
  • This system will serve as the foundation for crate rewards, allowing players to receive:
    • USDC payouts directly to their accounts
    • In-game items/assets as collectible or tradable rewards
